I found this on mtgfanatic.com
Maybe you or some you know may use it!

We are now offering store credit to our troops. They joined the military to protect our freedom and our way of life, and at mtgfanatic.com, we do not take that for granted. As our way of saying thanks for the dedication and sacrifice by our troops, we are offering 10% of the value of all orders shipped to an APO address in store credit. This credit will be issued when the transaction is completed and the order has been shipped. Example: If you place a $50.00 order, when the order ships, we will assign $5.00 in store credit to your account.

I personally want to say thanks to all of our troops in Iraq. You are all in my prayers.

- Chris Tremblay

NOTE: This discount only applies to orders shipped to an APO Address since we have no other easy way (to my knowledge) of verifying service in the military.

You know, I would, I really would, but I have no intention of buying anymore mtg cards. Now you could however buy cards, send them to me, and I send them back but I'm not sure if the store credit would cover the shipping cost.

Searched for all in-stock cards over $50

The only things that are not terribly overprized are:
Mishra's Workshop 250
(beta) Mox Ruby 600
Zodiac Dragon 160

Searching only for (on sale) cards:
Avatar of Woe (timeshifted) 6
Food Chain 3
Goblin Recruiter 2
Living Wish 8
Pact of Negation 11
Planar Void (80 cents)

So no, even with the 10% off, it's not really worth it... They're a little cheap on staple-cards though! They've got huge stocks too!! (which is stupid, because if somebody breaks a card and it gets posted on the internet, all shops are out of stock quite fast. However, it's nice to cap your stock to say 100 and keep the rest behind, so you can up the prize and put the rest online...

If people are going to buy stuff there, I'd like to order the following cards:
20 Planar Voids 0,79
20 Dark Rituals 0,59
20 Lightning Bolt 2,99
20 Swords to Plowshares 3,99
20 Accumulated Knowledge 0,99
20 Hymn to Tourach 0,99

BETA Moxes for sure.

I am more worried about the fact that (according to mr Tremblay) our Dooples is defending the way of life in iraq (whatever that means)

He's defending mr Tremblay's c.s. way of life, and he is doing so in Iraq. Makes perfect sense to me.

Doops, did you know you mr Tremblay's way of life was being threatened in Iraq?

Yes I did. Potential Magic players around the country and getting swept up in the deployments and whatnot. (especailly considering these potential magic players have ALOT OF MONEY and NOTHING BUT TIME) That's how we're protecting Tremblay's way of life.

Maybe he had a card shop at the Bazaar of Baghdad. Or maybe the irakis don't eat enough big macs.

However, Jestergoblin, the price tag of cards like Moxes do vary tremendously basing on the condition of the card and whether it is alpha, beta or unlimited. By now, most of the alphas and betas are in the hands of dedicated players/collectors that won't sell them anyway. Whereas the unlimited ones are more numerous and spread over the less dedicated audience where people come and go). That means if you are somebody who wants a piece of beta P9, you have to look really hard for it. And that means, if you own a shop and do have a beta PXsomething, then you don’t sell it for the “regular” price to the next guy that walks in, you are waiting for the desperate.

See, I do have 7 pieces of the P9 but only one of them is beta, the Sapphire (luckily it’s the Sapphire  ) If anybody would offer me, let’s say, 350 euros (which would be more than I paid), there is no reason to accept or even sell it in the first place. There are only three reasons why I would sell it: a) I quit playing Magic forever (very unlikely), b) I am in serious need for serious money (always possible of course but I would sell other cards first) and c) the offer I get for the Sapphire is WAY higher than the “regular” price. Read, if someone was crazy enough to offer me 1000 euros, I would give it away. And THAT means, the “regular” price is driven highly insane.

350 for a Sapphire?? Hell, even if it's unlimited, where do I sign up??

I just chose 350 because it's 50 bucks more than I paid for it originally. Card wise. Somehow.
