MORT: Thanx.
JESTERGOBLIN: Thanx.

EVERYBODY:
OK!, I feel mentally mature to take my evolution projects into the next stage. After all I have had victories enough myself to prove that manacurves raise game performance.

This time I will settle my beady litte eyes on the Pre-Release (No! beady little eyes does not make me into a Koala. I took the Pony-test, remember?) since I have been beaten so thoroughly there. It will also at the same time be my first attempt to include colors into the projects.
-------------------------------------------------
Project pandora's boosterpacks:
(Needs a better project name).

I have assumed the following about opening a starterpack and three boosters.

There will be a minimum of 4 cards with a cc of 1 colored mana in each color.

There will be a minimum of 4 cards with a cc of 1+1 colored mana in each color.

There will be a minimum of 4 cards with a cc of 2+1 colored mana in each color.

There will be a minimum of 2 cards with a cc of 3+1 colored mana in each color.

This was based on the starterpack and the three boosters I got at the release tourney. I cut the minimum down with 1 card in each spell.

There will be no double or multi costs because their ammounts were to erratic.

I want to be 75% sure that a manacurve can be applied to any pre-release attended...

I will use a maximum of 3 colors, though the simulation will be able to evolve down to 1 if it can be succesfully done by evolution. If anyone of you feels that 4 or 5 colors will be feasible try to convince me, though that will take even more programming and time than ever before.

Those interrested in statistics have claimed that the mana will split into even ammounts to support a "naturally" balanced deck.

I seriously doubt them. I expect to see odd ammounts of mana and spells that will mix in a way that will allow you to play 1cc's of one color early and bigger cc's of another color later.

I expect decks able to kill at turn 6 at the least.

The decission-processes of the simulation will work on importance. I have given the colors a different importancy rate because at the time you open your packs you may often decide which color you like the most, then you splash with the second color to support the first, and if things are really crappy you try to cram the third color in, being the "emergency-color"

I would love to hear creative comments on this one, the more the better.
