I hope this one's in the right sphere.
Ok so i don't know where to find the planeswalker rules. but i'm wondering if there's a way to steal planeswalker cards. i know you can't do a "gain control of target creature" because it is not a creature, and i also don't believe that there is a "gain control of target planeswalker" in print yet. But i guess what i'm wondering is if "gain control of target permanent" applies to these omnipotent beings?

Yes, you can confiscate a planeswalker.

That's awesome.
OK something else i don't know about 'walkers:
Is there a sort of "legend rule", so to speak, for planeswalkers? I'd like to assume that because there's in reality only one of each planeswalker that there is a similar rule here. But honestly it gets much more complicated since they're printing the same planeswalker on more than one card.
Example 1:
I control both Ajani Goldmane and Ajani Vengeant.
Example 2:
I control Sorin Markov, but my opponent summons another Sorin Markov.
Example 3: My opponent has a Chandra Nalaar in play, but I choose to summon a Chandra Ablaze.
Are any of these ok?
What happens?

No two planeswalkers with the same subtype can be in play at the same time. If another comes into play, both go to the graveyard.
Example one: Both Ajanis will be destroyed because they share the subtype "Ajani."
Example two: Your opponent can play his Sorin, but both will die. This allows the card to be used as a pseudo-removal.
Example 3: Same as example one.
None of those can happen and there currently isn't a way around it, like there are with legends and Mirror Gallery.
