In a store in the Neighbourhood, the next two days will be the SpelKwartier Masters. It's a tournament with four different rounds (each containing three matches). The winner will be awarded an english Mana Drain.

I will attend, but I'm not really planning to win.

One of the four formats is SpelKwartierBlockConstructed.

Each player picks a block and an accompanying base set and makes a deck around that. For sheer awesomeness and brokenness I have picked the oldest block.

I assume Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends and The Dark are your "block"? Don't you own any Mana Drains already? Bestestest card in your deck.
I would have a Control Magic somewhere, at least in the side. Opponent uses the Manaflare so cast something huge, you steal it.

My block starts on Legends and ends on Antiquities, so no mana drains for me... Otherwise, one of the Wrath of Gods would've been replaced with a Moat.

I like Control Magic, but the double U makes it only castable with a Mana Flare in play (note that Gauntlet of Might only gives me red manas) and thus I didn't want to risk it...
The Control Magic is probably better than the Disenchant in the sideboard, and I will replace those
