- Found site: Found in early 1998, both in search & linked sites
- Ranks site: 8 - 8.5
- Suggested improvements: More frequent updates
- Comments: The net is full of strategy, and play analysis. What I come to this site for is the history and story line reference. This site is THE BEST when it comes to archiving old story lines and legend's bios. and maps. The magazine idea is good, but maybe too ambitious. -- But, to make this a library... or a "tome", so to speak - That would be cool. And, you have an unbelievable start. You have decent tabled information... If you assimilated all this information into a MySQL database with w/ a PHP front end, and were able build time lines, look up characters, link to story lines, be refereed to the books (chapter and verse, ... sort of...). Technical papers, such a something like "A Travel Guide to Urborg". Get the fan engine running.
I play Magic, and I study the game diligently... But, I don't come here to do that. I come here as a fan of the story line and the history and the magical world construct. Like Star Trek or Star Wars or Farscape or Babylon 5 -- Magic has built a realm of imaginary realities, and it is a place that if fostered and carefully nurtured, people will choose to spend their free time and inhabit and contribute to the community. That is some of the reasons I come here... and will come here in the future. Like I have mentioned above; I originally found this site in '98', and I bookmarked it. Somehow that bookmark has lingered over several computers, and multiple browsers... And usually I come to stroll and read, and sometimes to research some aspect of Dominarian history... Stick with what you know...

- - October 26, 2000
- Email: Site
- Suggested improvements: Can it improve even more then?
- Comments: Well the only thing I have to say is: Wow!!!! Such a cool site I have never seen about magic, well, except for wizards of course, but that's the official website, nobody can improve that, right? So that's quiet all I have to say; this site kicks ass! It has everything in it what a proper site should have, and I mean i>proper, and even more than that. It looks good, it has the right subjects, it has a cool name, everything! I'd almost say it's better than wizards.com , but wizards has more information, so that just beats it, but this site definitely looks much better and it has stuff from which other site won't even dream about. Anyway, I don't wanna be a major suck-up, but I just say; "wow!!" and that's just it.

- Found site: Hmmmm, good question, how did I actually find Phyrexia? I think, althought I cannot guarantee it, it was by searchin for "Magic" at AltaVista and picking the site with the coolest name . . . .
- Ranks site: 7, due to rare updates (the Dojo is at 4 at the moment, so don't complain) - with regular
updates it would be an unmodificatet 9.9999...(a pure 10 wouldn't be good, for then it would be no fun trying to make this site work better).
- Suggested imrpovements: Regular updates.
- Comments: As a writer for Gate to Phyrexia (should it come out anyway) I thought it to be my duty to write an entry for the Guestbook. You just read it.

- Comments: Phyrexia is only rivaled by wizards.com. The Dojo can't be compared with this site because it's all about the game more than your wide selection.

When I moved from Greenville to Salisbury, it took quite some time before I got used to my new surroundings.
