Serra's Blessing
Written by Ulrich and Helva

I am surprised that this Weatherlight uncommon is not significantly more popular. Serra's Blessing is an enchantment which allows all your creatures to attack without tapping. With a casting cost of one white and one generic mana, it can be added to any deck which has even a smattering of white.

A 5CG deck with lots of big creatures can particularly benefit, but Serra's Blessing is a good addition to any creature deck. Since it affects only creatures you control, you don't have to worry about unintended benefits to your opponent.

My Griffin/Gargoyle deck, which Ulrich originally sneered at, becomes no laughing matter when I get that Serra's Blessing out. Just imagine the Colossus of Sardia or Leviathan which doesn't tap when attacking!

Play a Serra's Blessing with a Castle and make those weenie decks that much more difficult to stop. If you are feeling particularly diabolical, play it in combination with a Meekstone or Smoke.

Serra's Blessing also works particularly well in multi-player free-for-alls, which can degenerate into ultra-conservative games because no-one wants to leave themselves open. It's also lots of fun with Maraxus of Keld!
